The course content includes the following
- Fundamentals and concepts of the ISO 9001 standard: Introduction to the requirements and structure of the standard.
- Audit skills: Audit techniques, audit team management, and how to deal with audit challenges.
- Risk-based approach: Understanding and implementing risk-based thinking in audits.
- Reporting and follow-up: Writing reports of non-conformities and corrective actions.
- Practical workshops: Real-world exercises to simulate the audit process.
This course is usually held over 5 days (40 hours) and at the end, participants take an exam that, if passed, will earn them the International Chief Auditor Certificate under CQI-IRCA accreditation.
